Most civilians struggle profoundly to parallel park a smart car during Monday morning traffic. Here we see your average pilot, calmly parking a 40,000 lb chopper on an old wooden shack. Just another day at the office?
So the next time your executing a 43 point turn in a desolate ASDA car park, ensure you take your hat off to this guy.
This photo was taken by a soldier in Afghanistan on a ‘helo rescue mission’. The pilot is a PA Guard guy who flies EMS choppers in civilian life. Soldiers are pictured loading wounded men in the rear, as the huge chopper sits on top of an old wooden shack, overlooking the clouds on top of a jaw dropping mountain.
Skill and bravery at its peak.
